PRENTICE ALUMNUS GRADUATES FROM LOYOLA MARYMOUNT UNIVERSITY WITH HONORS

James T. Eastman

After leaving Prentice at the end of eighth grade J.T. was accepted into the Distinguished Scholars Program at Wilson High School in Long Beach. He did well and graduated with honors from this program in 2005. While in high school, J.T. was also a 4 year letterman. He was on the school’s surf team and, with his teammates, won the State Championship in the Men’s Short Board Competition his junior year. He was accepted to various colleges but chose to go to Loyola Marymount Univ. He graduated Cum Laude, majoring in Art History. While at college, J.T. was an assistant to a professor in the art history department and won an academic award in his major. He also contributed to the school’s newspaper.
