I live nearby in Tustin with my sweet, 16 year old shih tzu, Max. I have one child, a daughter, Melissa who was just married last summer. I love to put on events, and her wedding was the best! I sing in a women's chorus, walk daily, sew, do arts and crafts, floral design, and calligraphy. I hope to take up golf sometime soon.
This is my fifth year at Prentice, and I love teaching U.S. History. I teach an art elective to the 7th & 8th graders.electives, and work with the fourth graders one day a week. It is important to me that I instill in each student the ability to become self-sufficient, by asking them, "How can I solve this problem?" By brainstorming ways he or she can accomplish this goal, the student will become more confident in his or her own abilities. Then he/she will begin to take more risks and become more capable as the student continues to grow in high school and beyond.
