As a service to the community, we provide assessment and testing on-site at Prentice at affordable rates.  Our psychologist administers IQ testing as well as achievement testing.  Several members of the faculty are qualified to administer grade-level Slingerland screening ests.  The screening, a series of language arts related tasks, provides information on a student's strong and weak learning channels - visual, auditory, and/or kinesthetic.

 

IQ Testing - $200

IQ testing for children who have not had an IQ test previously or whose test is more than two years old - for families interested in placement.  Includes: IQ test, meeting with school psychologist to discuss screening, and a computer printout of scores

 

IQ Testing - $500

Includes: IQ test, achievement test with a report, and a meeting with school psychologist.

 

Slingerland Screenings - $200

 

Individual Slingerland Screening - Grade levels K-5: weekdays by appointment

Includes: One-hour screening, meeting with examiner to be scheduled the following week, a copy of the screening with descriptors.  (Slingerland for kindergarten done only in spring of kindergarten year.)

 

Individual Slingerland Screening for Older Students (Malcomesius Testing) - Grade levels 6-8

Includes: One-hour screening during the week, a meeting with the examiner to discuss results, and a copy of the screening with descriptors/graph

 

Saturday Slingerland Screenings: May 31, 2008

 

Small Group According to Grade Level (3-6 students) - $100

Includes: Meeting with screener the following week and copy of screenings with descriptors

 

Individual - Grade levels 6-8 - $200

Includes: Meeting with screening on the day of testing (when possible - otherwise, an appointment will be made to discuss results at a later date) and copy of screenings and/or graph

 

Individual - High School and Young Adult - $200
