Tuition and Assistance Options

The Prentice School’s Board of Directors is committed to providing a needs-based tuition assistance program which enables students who might not otherwise be able to attend our school to receive the benefits of a Prentice education.

Tuition assistance funds are available on a limited basis. To learn more about our tuition assistance, education loans and convenient payment plans, or for information about eligibility and the application process, please contact the Business Office.

Tuition for the 2018 – 2019 school year:

Grades K-5: $24,200
Grade 6: $24,900
Grades 7-8: $25,500

In addition to the tuition fee, a $500 registration and materials fee is required for the 2018-2019 school year.

NonPublic School (NPS)

The Prentice School is a NonPublic School (NPS) through the California Department of Education. Eligible students that are directly placed at Prentice are funded by their school district. These students require a direct placement referral from their school district or Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA). The Prentice School promotes a non-adversarial relationship with school districts and wishes to maintain a collaborative approach with all parties involved in the placement of district funded students at Prentice.
