It is ironic that some of the brightest children have difficulty learning in the traditional classroom. Children who learn differently are known to be innovative thinkers who become outstanding individuals in our communities. Nevertheless, many don’t reach their full potential because the traditional classroom environment does not teach to each student’s unique learning style. It is common for children who learn differently to grow up convinced that they are not very smart. We hear it all the time. We see how, if not given the right education, a struggling child simply shuts down and quits trying.
The best part about going to The Prentice School is that children who learn differently learn quickly that they are very smart and just need to be taught in a different way. We believe in teaching to each student’s strengths through research-based methods and multi-sensory instructional strategies. Students at Prentice experience so much growth and change. In a short period of time their lives are transformed. They become confident to raise their hands, participate in class, enjoy learning, and look at their future with confidence.
Would you please consider helping some very unique and bright children? I hope you will consider supporting our Celebrating 30 Years of Education Reimagined, to be held Saturday April 8, 2017, 5:30 PM at the Newport Beach Country Club in Newport Beach. Your sponsorship would be invaluable toward helping to enrich our students’ lives!
Below is a list of sponsorship and advertisement opportunities outlining the benefits you’ll receive. As an independent, nonprofit school that has served the educational needs of children in Kindergarten through 8th grade for 30 years, our mission has been to help these children who struggle in the traditional classroom on their journey to reach their full potential. During that time we have transformed the lives of over 5,000 children and their families. Let’s work together to impact the lives of another 5,000 children who will benefit from our unique program.
Reserve early; 250 limited capacity.
